Dengan prestasi pembangunan dan posisinya sebagai negara berpenghasilan menengah yang besar, Indonesia memiliki kontribusi yang kuat dalam upaya perbaikan arsitektur bantuan pembangunan
internasional. Dengan peran yang semakin penting dalam kerja sama pembangunan, wajar bagi Indonesia untuk meningkatkan mekanisme dan implementasi Kerja Sama Selatan-Selatan dan Triangular (KSST). Akan tetapi, meskipun memiliki sejarah panjang dalam menjalin kerja sama dengan sesama negara berkembang, Indonesia masih belum dapat membentuk mekanisme dan institutsi kerja sama pembangunan yang solid. Ini adalah studi tentang implementasi kebijakan
dan strategi kemitraan pendanaan KSST Indonesia. Studi ini bertujuan untuk: (i) menilai dan menarik pelajaran dari pelaksanaan kebijakan KSST oleh Pemerintah Republik Indonesia; dan (ii) memberikan analisa melalui tinjauan sasaran pada perencanaan kebijakan jangka panjang. Untuk itu, kajian ini memberikan pemetaan komprehensif KSST Indonesia, dan membuat penilaian terhadap prestasi yang sudah dicapai dan tantangan yang dihadapi. Studi ini menemukan bahwa pencapaian saat ini dalam
pembentukan mekanisme dan kelembagaan KSST masih jauh di belakang sasaran yang dituju. Untuk mengatasi tantangan yang ada, studi ini merancang sejumlah rekomendasi untuk langkah berikutnya yang harus diambil oleh pemerintah Indonesia untuk memperkuat perannya sebagai mitra pembangunan internasional yang aktif. Rekomendasi kebijakan studi ini dapat membantu Indonesia dalam merancang, merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi kebijakan dan strategi KSST
untuk sepuluh tahun ke depan.
